Your Responsibilities:
- Perform repair and maintenance work on GSE in accordance with recognized technical standards.
- Perform preventive maintenance, changing fluids and troubleshooting.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults in the equipment.
- Carry out maintenance, inspection, and servicing of vehicles and machinery to ensure their functionality and safety.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults in the equipment.
- On-the-job training of other mechanics.
- Document all completed repairs and maintenance tasks in the relevant system.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance guidelines.
- Ensure all equipment, tools, and devices are in good working condition, performing routine maintenance and cleaning components as necessary.
- Prepare equipment for handover to customers or deployment at airports.
- Coordinate with other technicians (mechanical, electrical, and workshop) to ensure the efficient execution of repair and maintenance tasks across different systems of GSE.
- Advising customers on maintenance measures and optimal use of their equipment.
- Support in the planning and organization of service assignments in the field.Profiel- Completed vocational training as a mechanic in the automotive, commercial vehicle, agricultural or construction sector, or a comparable qualification.
- Good knowledge of control technology and proficiency in reading circuit diagrams.
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working.
- Customer-oriented mindset.
- High flexibility and willingness to travel.
- Forklift license is a plus.
- Good command of local language as well as English language, both spoken and written.
