Function
You are part of a team responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring the strategic plan within the Life Insurance domain.
You coordinate the preparation of the multi-year strategic plan and the annual action plan. You support line managers in translating the corporate strategy into their respective areas of responsibility.
You substantiate the strategy through data and analyses. You define KPIs and objectives and support the development of a KPI dashboard to monitor progress towards the defined goals.
You analyze deviations in performance (e.g. actuals versus forecasts) and discuss results with line management. Where necessary, you also provide clarification and insights to senior management.
You are responsible for all communication related to the strategic plans. You communicate the content of the strategic plan to various target audiences (executive management, board of directors, employees, line managers, etc.). You prepare presentations and, where required, also give presentations yourself.
You coordinate and monitor strategic projects or projects with a transversal impact.
You explore business opportunities or product innovations. In addition, you stay up to date with developments and trends that may impact the insurance business (competition analyses, product innovation, distribution strategies, insurtech innovations, societal trends, innovations in data intelligence, the impact of artificial intelligence, etc.).
Requirements
You hold a master's degree, preferably in a financial or economic discipline.You can draw on a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the banking or insurance sector.
You have a good command of Dutch, French, and English.
You preferably have some experience in audit, controlling, finance, project management, product management, or strategy.
You are results-driven and place a strong emphasis on quality. Thanks to your analytical and synthesizing skills, you learn quickly.
You are able to work independently, while also functioning effectively in close collaboration with various teams. Thanks to your strong interpersonal and networking skills, you integrate easily into an existing organization.
You are proficient in working with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel,etc.).
