Role Overview: IP Patent Attorney
As an IP Patent Attorney, you will define and implement strategies for technology protection within your business area, advise internal stakeholders, and manage specific projects.
Your Impact as an IP Patent Attorney:
* Provide strategic input on intellectual property protection and lead strategy implementation within your technology domain.
* Advise the business on how to capture value from IP assets.
* Handle drafting, application, prosecution, grant, and enforcement procedures for IP rights, including patents, utility models, designs, and trademarks.
* Participate in due diligence, review third-party rights, and address IP risks.
* Assist in contracts involving IP rights, including licensing agreements.
* Collaborate with lawyers worldwide on prosecution and enforcement, including litigation and defending rights before authorities like the European Patent Office.
Qualifications:
* Qualified European Patent Attorney or national patent attorney with 10-15 years of experience in IP.
* Experience in both in-house and private practice is preferred.
* Strong academic background in science or engineering; a law degree is a plus.
* Recognized authority in IP matters with broad experience.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
* Proficiency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
