About The Role
The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Redwood Family Care Network plays a vital role in managing the full recruitment lifecycle. This position involves sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates to fill a variety of roles within the organization. The specialist is responsible for creating a robust talent pipeline, utilizing social media platforms, job boards, and other innovative sourcing tools to attract diverse candidates. They will coordinate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, facilitate the onboarding process, and ensure all pre‑employment requirements are completed efficiently. The role demands a proactive approach to recruitment, ensuring timely placement of qualified candidates who align with the organization’s mission and values. Additionally, the specialist will track all onboarding documentation, maintain accurate records, and support internal transfers to ensure seamless transitions within the organization.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess 2 to 3 years of experience in human resources or recruitment, preferably with a background in home care or related fields. A strong understanding of personnel recruitment procedures, labor relations, and HR information systems is essential. Proficiency in utilizing social media and job boards for sourcing candidates is required. The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and time‑management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills, including negotiation and influencing abilities, are necessary for success. Candidates should also be detail‑oriented, adaptable, and capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team. A valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and registration are required if driving is part of the role.
Responsibilities
* Manage incoming calls and correspondence related to the onboarding process, ensuring clear communication with applicants and hiring managers.
* Initiate outbound calls to candidates to facilitate the onboarding process and gather necessary documentation.
* Verify employment eligibility through Form I‑9, E‑Verify, and other required documentation, maintaining compliance with federal regulations.
* Coordinate and verify completion of pre‑employment drug screens and background checks, following up as needed.
* Process and update applicant information within the applicant tracking system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Identify, interview, and present qualified candidates to the recruiting team for further evaluation.
* Create and maintain a diverse talent pool by developing targeted sourcing strategies, including competitor analysis and targeted outreach.
* Manage job postings across multiple platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Monster, and university career sites.
* Track key recruitment metrics, analyze trends, and report findings to improve sourcing strategies and organizational hiring goals.
* Support hiring managers with onboarding activities, including ordering equipment, setting up accounts, and scheduling orientation sessions.
* Assist with candidate screening, scheduling interviews, and coordinating communication throughout the hiring process.
* Maintain organized personnel files, ensuring all onboarding documentation is properly stored and accessible.
* Contribute to employer branding initiatives by creating a positive external image and engaging with potential candidates.
* Perform other related duties as assigned to support the recruitment team and organizational objectives.
