For our client, Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for a Risk Analyst (m/f/x) for a permanent position based in Antwerpen. Our client is an international banking group. As Risk Analyst (m/f/x) you will be responsible for:
As Risk Analyst you evaluate credit applications for small and large investment amounts from small and large Belgian, Dutch and Luxembourg companies. You will perform financial analysis, estimate the structural risks of a transaction and make recommendations on the acceptability of credit requests.
You submit proposals to the local / international credit committee and (in time) will decide on the acceptance of risks within your own credit decision authority.
You have a broad scope of work, covering various types of equipment to be financed, various types of customers and various financing structures.
You will work as part of a team surrounded by highly experienced colleagues who will assist you where needed
You will also work closely with other departments (mainly Sales, but also Customer Service and Finance).
As Risk Analyst you evaluate the KYC-AML risk of the Benelux customers. You submit proposals to the local / international Anti-Money Laundering Officer (AMLO) and (in time) will decide on the acceptance of risks within your own decision authority.
You are vigilant to operational risks and will contribute to identify and report them to the Operational Risk Manager.
Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)
You implement and follow-up group ESG Risk Management policies in Benelux.
Are you the Risk Analyst (m/f/x) we're looking for?
You have at least a bachelor's degree in an economic field, complemented by additional training in financial topics if possible;
You have at least 3 years of relevant Credit and Compliance risk analysis experience in the financial sector;
Good time management and email management skills;
Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English, French is a plus;
You are a team player with excellent interpersonal skills who can also work independently;
