Join Amaris Consulting as a Junior Site Supervisor and become part of our team dedicated to supervising industrial projects in the Antwerp region. You will work in an international and dynamic environment, collaborating with our client, the end client, and various contractors involved in the execution of the works. This position will allow you to develop your technical and organizational skills within a growing organization.
Your missions
* Interface between our client’s back office, the client, and contractors executing the works.
* Inspect contractors’ execution activities and verify compliance with execution drawings and documentation (erection methodology, etc.).
* Verify and monitor Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) requirements.
* Manage technical interfaces between contractors.
* Manage and follow up on main design modifications.
* Participate in regular meetings with stakeholders: progress, challenges, interfaces, HSE, etc.
* Draft work orders and site orders, issue notes on execution and shortcomings, and check progress reports prepared by contractors.
* Exchange information continuously on developments in work and studies.
Your profile
* Master’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
* First relevant professional experience in an engineering or contractor environment, including design assignments and erection follow-up, preferably in an industrial context.
* Fluency in Dutch, a strong command of English. It's a big plus if you also speak French!
* Excellent communication skills: factual and to the point.
* Strong writing skills for technical notes.
