Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Gent for a Shopify Product Owner. The Shopify Product Owner will oversee the planning and execution of e-commerce projects, ensure alignment between client needs and technical delivery, and manage product backlogs. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, gathering requirements, analyzing business needs, facilitating communication, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality Shopify solutions.
You're a great fit if you:
* Have 3+ years working with Shopify (as a merchant, at an agency, or as a consultant)
* Can look at a client's store, analytics, and business model and spot what's actually important
* Know how to write clear user stories and manage a product backlog
* Are comfortable saying "no" or "not yet" to stakeholders when it's the right call
* Understand how Shopify works under the hood, themes, apps, APIs, checkout, enough to have informed conversations with developers
* Speak Dutch fluently and are comfortable working in English
Nice to have:
* Experience with Odoo or ERP integrations
* Background in platform migrations (WooCommerce, Magento → Shopify)
* Shopify Partner or Plus experience
