Responsibilities
As a QHSE Officer at Eurofiber, you play an important role in how the organization works safely, responsibly and remains in control. You support and help coordinate the implementation, execution and continuous improvement of the ISO‑based QHSE management system, with a clear focus on Belgium and Luxembourg, in line with applicable laws and regulations.
You work closely with colleagues from the Security, Privacy and Compliance team, where QHSE represents the compliance domain alongside the security and privacy disciplines. As an integrated team, you help maintain a robust and compliant management system by identifying risks, monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement across the organization.
In this role, you help translate Health and Safety and broader QHSE requirements into practical ways of working. You support the development, implementation and maintenance of QHSE policies, processes and controls, while keeping the plan‑do‑check‑act (PDCA) cycle active and properly documented in daily practice. You assist with internal audits, help coordinate external ISO audits and contribute to the structured follow-up of findings. You can also expect to be involved in our international tender processes and projects, ensuring that Eurofiber can offer solutions that are compliant with both the customer‑ and our certification requirements.
You also support and help oversee the handling of incidents, findings and complaints by determining the root causes and coordinating corrective and preventive actions with relevant stakeholders. In addition, you contribute to ESG‑related initiatives within the QHSE domain, supporting Eurofiber in strengthening its sustainable and responsible way of working. Through collaboration and a structured approach, you make a visible contribution to a compliant, futureproof and continuously improving Eurofiber organization.
