About the role
You are going to design, develop, and continuously improve high-quality GxP learning solutions that help colleagues perform with confidence and in line with internal quality standards, SOPs, and regulatory expectations. You will translate Quality Management System processes and GxP topics into learning experiences that are engaging, measurable, and ready for inspection. You will partner closely with stakeholders and SMEs, balance multiple projects, and use feedback and analytics to keep learning effective and current.
Who you will work with
You will work within a collaborative team of Instructional Designers, reporting to the Quality Lead Learning Design & Development. You are going to co-create solutions with SMEs, process owners, and Global Quality stakeholders, and you will coordinate with LMS administrators and training boosters to ensure smooth deployment. When needed, you will also manage deliverables with external learning providers to meet UCB standards.
What you will do
1. You will translate business needs into clear learning objectives using adult learning principles and UCB learning standards.
2. You will design and build learning content: e-learning, micro-learning, videos, instructor-led sessions, and blended programs.
3. You will be responsible for ensuring every solution aligns with quality standards, SOPs, guidelines, and regulatory expectations.
4. You will prepare modules for LMS upload, testing, deployment, and accurate learner assignment with LMS partners.
5. You will evaluate effectiveness using analytics, surveys, and feedback, then improve content to close performance gaps.
6. You will manage multiple projects in parallel, keeping timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables aligned and high quality.

7. For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills:
8. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field.
9. Strong instructional design expertise and hands-on use of adult learning principles and frameworks.
10. Experience creating digital learning (e-learning, video, micro-learning) in a regulated or GxP environment.
11. Proficiency with authoring tools such as Articulate and Synthesia; you enjoy learning new tools.
12. Strong visual/video editing skills (e.g., Snagit, MS Stream, Vyond, Adobe Creative Suite).
13. Fluent English communication; you will confidently challenge, guide, and align stakeholders and SMEs.
Are you ready to ‘go beyond’ to create value and make your mark for patients? If this sounds like you, then we would love to hear from you!
