Analog IC Designer – Semiconductor industry
Location: Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium
I’m supporting a confidential client in the semiconductor space who are looking to hire an Analog IC Designer to join their growing R&D team. This role offers exposure to the full IC development lifecycle, working on low-power analog blocks used in next-generation energy-efficient systems.
The role:
You’ll be responsible for the specification, design, and validation of ultra-low power analog integrated circuits, collaborating closely with digital design and layout teams. The position spans from early-stage concept through silicon validation and mass production.
Key responsibilities include:
* Design and validation of low-power analog ICs (e.g. DC/DC converters, comparators, voltage references, clock generators)
* Taking layout, test, and production constraints into account from the design phase
* Reviewing design documentation and contributing to design quality across the team
* Supporting prototype bring-up, silicon evaluation, and debugging
* Continuous technical development within a fast-growing, engineering-driven environment
Background required:
* Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related discipline
* Experience with EDA tools and languages used in analog IC design flows
* Strong foundation in analog circuit design
* Experience in ultra-low power, mixed-signal, RF, or design-for-test is a plus
Personal attributes:
* Detail-oriented, rigorous, and quality-focused
* Comfortable thinking creatively and solving complex technical problems
* Able to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
