Key Account Manager, Benelux – Oncology Overview:
A global pharmaceutical company is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to lead the launch and growth of its oncology portfolio across the Benelux region, starting with a key product for dermatological oncology. The role focuses on developing strategic partnerships with hospital pharmacists, oncologists, and surgeons, driving access, and ensuring ethical promotion of the company’s products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver sales objectives and manage key hospital accounts across Benelux.
2. Identify and engage decision-makers within hospitals to ensure product access.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare stakeholders.
4. Organize in-hospital meetings, symposia, and represent the company at congresses.
5. Develop and execute regional account plans aligned with corporate strategy.
6. Provide ongoing market insights and feedback to internal teams (Medical, Marketing, Market Access).
7. Ensure compliance with all pharmaceutical regulations and company standards.
Candidate Profile:
8. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; certified pharmaceutical sales representative.
9. 5–10 years’ experience in hospital or oncology sales, ideally within the Benelux market.
10. Proven knowledge of local market access and hospital procurement processes.
11. Fluent in Dutch and French, with excellent command of English.
12. Strong communicator with an entrepreneurial and analytical mindset.
13. Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage complex stakeholder environments.
14. Ideally based in Belgium, with willingness to travel extensively across the region.
