What are your responsibilities?
As HR Manager for our Belgium production sites (Hooglede and Diksmuide), you will be an integral part of the global HR team at Deceuninck Group, contributing to the development and execution of HR strategies that support our business goals.
More specifically, your responsibilities will be:
1. Manage and motivate a dynamic Belgian HR team with expertise across both hard and soft HR domains.
2. Serve as the HRBP for a segment of the workforce, actively engaging in the different aspects of an employee lifecycle.
3. Translate global HR policies into actionable plans at our Belgian sites, ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.
4. Oversee seamless HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and development.
5. Lead the annual HR budget planning and monitor ongoing performance against financial targets.
6. Foster a high-performance culture by enhancing performance management systems, supporting training and development initiatives, and ensuring consistent follow-up.
7. Cultivate a positive social climate, acting as a key liaison between employees and management. Proactively manage employee relations and maintain constructive dialogue with union representatives.
8. Report directly to the CHRO and work closely with the plant manager, leadership team, and your HR colleagues to drive organizational success.
Who are we looking for?
9. Master’s degree in psychology, Law, or Social Work and 5–8 years of HR experiencein a manufacturing environment, with a strong grasp of both hard and soft HR practices.
10. A proven experience in working with trade unionsand managing social dialogue.
11. Strong leadership skills with the ability to empower, communicate, and negotiate
12. In-depth knowledge of Belgian labor and social legislation, as well as employee benefits.
13. Comfortable working with HR IT toolsand systems.
14. A proactive, can-do mindsetthat energizes and inspires those around you.
15. Seniority and credibility to be recognized as a trusted business partner across all levels of the organization.
