Job Purpose:
Responsible for designing, implementing, and governing pricing strategies to maximize revenue, optimize yield, and ensure market competitiveness across the network, translating market dynamics and capacity signals into clear, executable pricing actions
Responsibilities:
Pricing Strategy & Revenue Optimization
* Develop and implement pricing models based on market demand, competitive landscape, capacity availability, and cost environment.
* Continuously adjust pricing levels to maximize revenue, yield, and contribution while maintaining market competitiveness.
* Own and manage rate structures across commodities, weight breaks, and service levels, including mark‑ups and product differentiation.
* Define and steer feed and de‑feed pricing strategies (e.g. RFS pre‑caps) to support network profitability and capacity optimization.
Governance & Commercial Discipline
* Ensure pricing consistency and governance across markets in line with agreed pricing corridors and commercial policies.
* Act as the pricing authority for defined scopes, ensuring deviations and exceptions are transparent, justified, and approved per policy.
* Translate strategic pricing frameworks into clear guidance for Sales teams, including pricing corridors, floor/target rates, and high‑yield focus areas.
Sales Enablement, Strategic Accounts & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
* Act as a pricing partner to Sales, providing guidance on deal structuring, trade‑offs, and yield‑focused decision making.
* Support strategic account planning, ensuring pricing strategies align with customer value, network contribution, and long‑term profitability.
* Actively participate in RFQ and tender responses, defining competitive yet value‑accretive pricing strategies.
* Work closely with Revenue Management on demand signals, forecast implications, and capacity steering.
* Coordinate with Network Planning to align pricing actions with network changes, capacity shifts, and strategic routes.
* Partner with Business Development to support market entry, product launches, and structural pricing initiatives.
Education:
* Minimum requirement: BA in Economy/ Industrial Engineer or equivalent degree in relevant subject.
Experience, Skills, and Personal Attributes:
* Strong background in Pricing, Revenue Management, or Commercial Strategy, ideally in air cargo, logistics, or transportation.
* Proven experience in dynamic pricing, rate construction, and yield optimization.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear commercial decisions.
* Ability to operate confidently in a cross‑functional, matrix environment.
* High level of commercial judgment, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
