About the role
Our client, a key leader in the beverage sector (Food & Beverage), is transforming its marketing organization to create a specialized expertise hub dedicated to Shopper Marketing. This new department is shifting from a brand-based structure to a channel-based approach (Home/Out of Home).
In this creation context, we are looking for a Shopper Marketeer to join this new team. You will play a crucial role in developing and executing innovative and impactful shopper strategies for Belgium and the Netherlands, reporting directly to the Shopper Marketing Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Execution:
* Translate the overall brand strategy into effective in-store and online activations, OOH visibility, retail media campaigns, and shopper engagement initiatives.
* Develop creative concepts for in-store campaigns.
* Coordinate with Belgian retailers (Carrefour, Delhaize, etc.) to ensure successful activation implementation.
* Collaborate with the Netherlands team on cross-border concepts.
* Monitor and analyze trends in retail media to identify innovative approaches.
Operational Management:
* Manage the administrative aspects of activations, including invoices, coupons, and redemption rates.
* Oversee the development and monitoring of displays and Point-of-Sale (POS) material.
* Track stock levels and manage the manufacturing of marketing materials.
* Analyze activation performance (KPIs, ROI) to optimize investments and future strategies.
Collaboration & Teamwork:
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Category Management) to align on shopper marketing initiatives.
* Foster effective collaboration within a matrix environment, particularly between Belgium and the Netherlands.
About the ideal candidate
You hold a Master's degree in Marketing, Communication, or Economics.
You have 3-6 years of solid experience in Shopper or Trade Marketing, ideally acquired in the FMCG sector.
You have excellent analytical skills with a focus on measuring ROI and KPIs and you are results-oriented with a strong focus on operational efficiency.
You can manage administrative complexity effectively and have proficiency in project management tools.
You have a collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively in a team. You have Adaptability and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
️You are operationally trilingual (French, Dutch, English).
