Job Description - Roles and Responsibilities
IT Business Analyst- Profile description

Key Responsibilities:
* We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst and coordinator to join our team in the energy industry, a highly regulated sector where compliance and precision are critical. The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing business processes, gathering requirements, and supporting the implementation of IT solutions that align with regulatory standards and organizational goals.
* Coordinate initiatives with autonomy
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams where your insights directly shape IT solutions used across the organization.
* Take a role in the team to define project goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
* Analyze and document AS-IS and TO-BE processes across multiple business areas.
* Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders to identify and document business and functional needs.
* Data Analysis & Reporting: Interpret data to support recommendations, decisions, and process improvements.
* Process Analysis: Review current workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization.
* Risk Identification: Detect inconsistencies, gaps, or potential risks early in the analysis phase.
* Solution Design: Recommending IT Solutions to address business needs (together with other IT teams and external partners).
* Solution Support: Collaborate with technical teams to design, test, and validate solutions.
* Documentation: Maintain clear and structured documentation of findings, decisions, and solutions.
* Project Management: Overseeing the implementation of IT projects, ensuring they meet requirements and are delivered on time
* ICT Delivery team: Relevant experience software delivery in an ICT team.
* Training and Support: Providing training and support to users on new systems and processes.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards throughout all project phases.
Experience & expertise:
* 3–5 years as an IT Business Analyst.
* Experience working in Agile environments.
Nice-to-Have:
* Understanding Finance processes from an IT perspective, including workforce planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation.
* SAP experience.
* Trilingual (French/Dutch/English).
* Familiarity with Sparx Enterprise Architect.
* Previous experience in regulated industries (energy, utilities, finance)
* Proficient in creating BPMN diagrams
Communication skills:
* Good Skills to communicate with business stakeholders: listening actively to their needs, asking the right questions and interpreting their answers correctly.
* Ability to work and communicate in a team (e.g. collaboration with other team members)
* Language skills: Ability to communicate in Dutch/French (spoken) and English (written).
