We're looking for an IT Service Operations Manager to own and lead end‐to‐end IT service delivery for a large, modern campus in Ghent. This role is responsible for day‐to‐day IT operations, leading an on‐site support team, and ensuring employees have a seamless, secure, and reliable technology experience. What you'll be doing Leading, mentoring, and managing an on‐site IT support engineering team Owning IT service delivery and operational performance for the Ghent site Acting as the senior escalation point for incidents and service issues Managing workplace technology services (end‐user devices, AV, collaboration tools, connectivity) Overseeing hardware procurement, asset lifecycle management, and inventory Managing software and license compliance in partnership with global teams Collaborating with global IT functions (security, infrastructure, applications) Ensuring services meet SLAs, ITSM best practices, and security standards Driving continuous improvement, automation, and adoption of emerging technologies, including AI What we're looking for Extensive experience in IT service operations or IT infrastructure leadership Proven people management experience within an enterprise environment Strong knowledge of modern workplace technologies (Microsoft 365, Intune, Windows, macOS/JAMF, collaboration platforms, ITSM tools) Experience managing hardware assets, vendors, and software licensing Excellent xjsrcvq stakeholder management and communication skills Comfortable operating in a global, fast‐paced environment ITIL / ITSM experience is preferred Experience in regulated industries is a plus, but not essential Why consider this role High‐visibility role with ownership of IT services for a major site Opportunity to influence service standards and operational excellence Modern technology environment with a strong focus on innovation Collaborative, international working culture
