In this versatile executive role, your main responsibilities include: Taking the absolute strategic lead towards the ISO 9001 certification of our company. Defining and overseeing the execution of rigorous inspection processes for both internal and external production. Ensuring the investigation of customer complaints, overseeing root-cause analyses, and driving systemic corrective actions. Evaluating quality KPIs and initiating regular audits of processes, products, and suppliers. Fostering a company-wide quality culture by collaborating closely at leadership level with R&D, operations, and procurement. Governing the management and maintenance of documentation related to quality assurance and control, thus promoting a pervasive quality culture. Directing the development and delivery of training programmes on quality awareness and best practices for employees. Profile RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you need a balanced set of personal attributes. We look for a highly structured and analytical mindset to seamlessly map out complex organizational flows and performance metrics. Your strong executive communication and leadership skills will be crucial to motivate teams and naturally embed a true quality culture. Finally, you thrive on high standards, acting with uncompromising integrity and an eye for detail in a fast-paced environment. To be considered, you must possess the following hard criteria: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field. Minimum 15 years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing or assembly environment, with at least 5 years served in an executive or directorial capacity (was: minimum 10 years). Proven experience in strategically hosting ISO or customer audits and deep knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001). Knowledge of Environmental Quality systems (ISO 14001) is considered an important advantage. Solid technical knowledge of high-tech mechanical manufacturing, assembly, and inspection techniques. Full professional fluency in English (Dutch language skills are a strong strategic asset).
