Payroll - SQL Server Database Administrator - Brussels

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain SQL Server databases, ensuring optimal performance and security.
* Develop and implement PowerShell scripts for automation and efficiency.
* Oversee Microsoft Active Directory, PowerBI/ReportServer, and SSAS.
* Handle Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) and vulnerability management software.
* Utilise your knowledge of Linux RedHat and automation tools like Ansible.
* Troubleshoot and resolve server and client security issues.
* Propose solutions for system performance issues, including CPU, indexing, cache hits, IOPS, and RAM.
* Collaborate with teams using Git, JIRA, and Confluence for project management and version control.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Proven experience as a Database Administrator, particularly with SQL Server.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory and PowerShell scripting.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Cluster Service and Windows Server-based schedulers.
* Strong understanding of server and client security, including public key infrastructure.
* Experience with HP & Supermicro Servers hardware platforms.
* Knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible and PowerShell.
* Ability to diagnose and resolve performance issues effectively.
* Experience with Git, JIRA, and Confluence is advantageous.
