Job Description:
The Country Representative (CR) – Spain will serve as the senior executive responsible for leading the operational, liaison, and strategic performance of the MCN’s Spanish business unit. This role is pivotal in building and scaling the company’s European footprint — integrating market expansion, creator management, and monetization strategies within a sustainable operational framework.
The CR will oversee all aspects of business execution — including creator partnerships, content operations, and team leadership — while ensuring full alignment with the company’s global vision. The successful candidate will be a results-oriented leader with deep experience in digital media operations, platform partnerships, and the creator economy.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Operations & Execution
* Lead the overall business and operational execution of the MCN in Spain.
* Translate global strategic priorities into executable local plans across marketing, creator relations, monetization, and technology.
* Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and scalable processes.
* Optimize revenue models through analytics-driven insights and performance metrics.
* Develop frameworks to ensure content and partnership quality align with YouTube’s standards.
2. Business Growth & Market Development
* Drive the MCN’s business expansion and establish Spain as a key regional growth hub.
* Identify and secure partnerships with creators, production studios, media agencies, and advertisers.
* Explore emerging opportunities in verticals such as gaming, music, education, and lifestyle.
* Develop and manage business plans that align with P&L goals, KPIs, and global growth targets.
3. Financial & Operational Leadership
* Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial control to ensure profitability and cost discipline.
* Lead P&L ownership and ensure transparent financial reporting to the CEO and Board.
* Ensure full compliance with Spanish corporate, tax, data protection (LOPDGDD), and EU GDPR laws.
* Implement operational systems, creator payment frameworks, and risk management structures.
* Manage vendor relations, procurement, and key contracts.
4. People Leadership & Culture
* Build and lead a high-performing team across creator management, marketing, finance, and operations.
* Establish a strong performance-driven culture focused on accountability, creativity, and innovation.
* Mentor and coach senior managers to enhance leadership depth and operational consistency.
* Ensure diversity, inclusion, and collaboration are embedded in all aspects of the organization.
5. Brand, Reputation & Stakeholder Engagement
* Act as a key executive spokesperson for the MCN in Spain.
* Represent the company in industry conferences, YouTube events, and strategic forums.
* Maintain relationships with creators, media, and regulatory stakeholders.
* Provide regular business insights and growth reports to the CEO and global leadership team.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential Qualifications
* Proven track record of scaling a media or digital content business in Spain or other European markets.
* Strong understanding of the YouTube ecosystem, MCN operations, and digital monetization structures.
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Media, Marketing, or related field; Master’s (MBA or equivalent) could be a plus.
* Minimum 5–10 years of leadership experience, including at least 5 years in an operational or P&L leadership role within digital media, entertainment, or technology sectors.
