We are looking for a dynamic Head of Data Business Partnership & PMO to lead and scale relevant data initiatives across the organization in line with our strategic priorities. Role Overview The collection and need for data continue to grow exponentially in organisations. Increasingly, data in itself – outside of applications – has value supporting the organisation’s mission and activities. Data has even more value if it is readily available, easily found, and easily re-usable for both existing and new services and activities or applications. The Head of Data Business Partnership & PMO is a strategic and operational leader responsible for driving the execution of enterprise data initiatives and ensuring measurable business impact across the organisation. This dual-role position combines programme leadership, stakeholder alignment, and operational oversight, serving as both a key advisor to the Chief Data Officer and a central coordinator for enterprise-wide data efforts. This role is pivotal in leading strategic data initiatives, establishing strong business partnership, and facilitating data-driven decision-making throughout the organisation. The role encompasses programme delivery, operational excellence and business acumen, ensuring that the Data Office’s initiatives are aligned with business goals and deliver tangible value. Key responsibilities Strategic Program Leadership Serve as a strategic advisor to the CDO on the enablement of data business partnership and the business strategy agenda, supporting decision-making, communications, and organizational alignment. Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact data projects that are aligned with business goals and priorities and further develop Euroclear’s data programs and data governance strategies. Translate business needs into data-driven solutions, ensuring these solutions support the overall enterprise strategy and are consolidated in sustainable and reusable data capabilities. Ensure all data initiatives are consistently aligned with business priorities, regulatory requirements, and evolving technology strategies. Actively guide the design, development and management of any current or new data generation, data storage or data intelligence solutions to safeguard that business and regulatory requirements are met. Develop and review standard operating procedures to meet high standards for data organization, quality, and security in project delivery. Establish and maintain robust project governance frameworks, define success metrics, and implement effective reporting structures. Represent the Data Office and the CDO in the required boards, management committees and/or steering committees. Business Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement Act as a liaison between the Data Office and internal and external business partners (Euroclear entities, vendors, etc.) as well as the corporate divisions in the Group (Finance, IT, HR, Risk & Compliance, etc.), fostering strong relationships and trust. Partner with senior leaders across departments to identify opportunities for data-driven innovation and efficiency. Drive execution of enterprise-wide data initiatives including data analytics enablement, and AI/ML adoption. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure data initiatives are well-integrated into business processes. Champion the value of data across the organization, promoting adoption and literacy. Operational Excellence Manage budget, resources, and vendor relationships for data programs, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value delivery. Manage staff for assigned projects to ensure quality oversight and on-time delivery (both internal / external / vendor staff). Monitor and report on data program KPIs, regulatory milestones, and audit readiness. Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track progress, impact, and ROI. Drive continuous improvement in data management practices, tools, and workflows. Team Leadership & Development Lead and mentor a team of data project managers and experts. Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Drive internal communications, ensuring transparency and alignment across data teams and stakeholders. Support talent development and growth planning within the Data Office. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field. 10 years of experience in data strategy, business operations, or strategic program management, with a strong focus on organizational transformation. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex data initiatives. Strong business acumen and ability to translate strategic data objectives into actionable deliverables. A solid understanding of data technology is required. Strong bias towards practical solutions, a solid connection with business reality and a pragmatic approach to deliver result in a steady pace. Strong ability to recognize synergies and interdependencies across data-driven initiatives, enabling holistic and innovative approaches to problem-solving. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Experience in matrixed or global organizations is a plus.
