Team Leader Inside Sales
Location: Gent
We are now hiring for an internal sales Team Leader in our Belgium office in Gent.
The Inside Sales Team Leader is responsible for supporting and developing the TTI Inside Sales team in Belgium overseeing its operations and business activities. This role reports directly to the Inside Sales Manager for TTI, Inc. Office Benelux in Eindhoven.
Our customers are a good mix of OEM’s and CEM’s based in Benelux. Working closely with our internal and external sales teams you will be expected to maintain and grow our key strategic customer accounts, building long-term relationships.
The Team Lead analyses on-time deliveries, sales errors and customer convenience PPM and cost efficiency for the team. Organizes sales promotions, projects, tasks, and directs daily workflow within the Team. Provides training and guidance for sales trainees, temporary employees, interns, and new employees.
1. Leadership Supporting and guiding the further development of the Belgium inside Team
2. Sells products and services offered by TTI. This includes, but is not limited to, product lines, AIM programs Inventory Management Programs, quality, and value-added services. The sale is attained by building relationships and tailoring the sales approach to meet the customers’ needs. This is measured through monthly sales reporting, quality objectives and regular management performance reviews.
3. Provides price and delivery quotes within customer timeline to customers within assigned geographic territory by working with the branch or corporate product manager and the manufacturers to get the most competitive pricing by using all tool available.
4. Expands product knowledge by utilising all resources including product literature, factory representatives, product managers, sales managers, and other sales representatives to be able to discuss product options with customers and sell TTI strengths
5. Processes the customer’s order by entering it into Express for quote processing and delivery schedules.
6. Requires eye for detail, proof reading for accuracy, and maintaining quality expectations.
7. Participates in the TTI Total Quality process by following defined policies and procedures to maintain efficient sales procedure, following logical and systematic approaches.
8. Where required participates and attends sales calls with Outside Sales / Field Sales Representatives to develop sales relationship and trust with the customer and TTI.
9. of 3 years of work experience as Inside Sales or in a related position in the electronic industry
10. Proven experience in team leadership is an advantage
11. Skilled in preparing reports and correspondence proficiently and professionally
12. Well organised and able to prioritise multiple tasks
13. Experience within the electronics, manufacturing and distribution industry would be fantastic but not essential for the right person
14. Fluent in Dutch, French and English
15. Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications
This position will suit a tenacious, outgoing, enthusiastic person. You are a team player with excellent organizational and communication skills. You can work under pressure and deal with people at all levels. You can work with initiative and a keen perception. Furthermore you understand the difference between the Dutch and Belgium mindset and know how to navigate this.
