Team Leader Inside Sales
Location: Gent
As the Inside Sales Team Leader, you will support, guide, and further develop our Inside Sales Team in Belgium. You will oversee daily operations, ensure efficient processes, and contribute directly to the team’s growth. This role reports to the Inside Sales Manager for TTI, Inc., Benelux, based in Eindhoven.
Our customer base includes a diverse mix of OEMs and CEMs across the Benelux region. In close cooperation with our internal and external sales teams, you will maintain and grow key strategic accounts, build strong long-term relationships, and ensure an excellent customer experience.
Leading & Empowering the Team
1. Providing leadership, guidance, and continuous development for the Belgium Inside Sales Team.
2. Supporting the Inside Sales Manager in daily and strategic leadership tasks.
3. Delivering training and ensuring smooth onboarding of new team members.
Optimizing Performance & Processes
4. Analysing on‑time delivery, sales errors, customer convenience (PPM), and cost efficiency.
5. Organizing sales promotions, projects, and tasks, and directing the team’s daily workflow.
Driving Sales Excellence
6. Selling TTI products and services (AIM programs, Inventory Management Programs, value‑added services) tailored to customer needs.
7. If necessary, participating in customer visits with Outside/Field Sales Representatives to strengthen relationships.
Collaborating Across Functions
8. Working closely with the Branch Product Manager and manufacturers to secure competitive pricing and timely offers.
9. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure best‑in‑class service.
Growing Product Expertise
10. Continuously expanding product knowledge to confidently discuss options and highlight TTI’s strengths.
11. This development is supported through product literature, factory representatives, product managers, sales managers and the broader sales team.
This position will suit a tenacious, outgoing, enthusiastic person. You are a team player with excellent organizational and communication skills. You can work under pressure and deal with people at all levels. You can work with initiative and a keen perception. Furthermore, you understand the difference between the Dutch and Belgium mindset and know how to navigate this.
12. Minimum of 3 years of work experience as Inside Sales or in a related position in the electronic industry
13. Experience within the electronics, manufacturing and distribution industry would be fantastic but not essential for the right person
14. Proven experience in team leadership is an advantage
15. Skilled in preparing reports and correspondence proficiently and professionally
16. Fluent in Dutch, French and English
17. Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications
18. Well organised and able to prioritise multiple tasks
