Senior Business Analyst (App & Web Focus - Finance) – FreelanceWe are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join a customer in the financial services sector for a long-term freelance mission. The consultant will support a range of ongoing digital projects focused on mobile applications and web platforms, with particular emphasis on the mobile app experience in a B2C context.The role involves gathering and validating business requirements, performing functional analysis, and working closely with UX, development, and QA teams. Key initiatives include improving search functionality, enhancing user journeys for trading/investing features, and supporting the rollout of a chatbot functionality.The selected consultant will work within an agile product environment, collaborating with product owners, designers, and developers to deliver front-end-facing improvements aligned with business goals.ResponsibilitiesGather, analyse, and document business requirements for mobile and web platformsTranslate user needs into functional specifications focused on UX and front-end functionalityCollaborate closely with product, design, and development teams in an agile environmentValidate proposed features and improvements with internal stakeholdersSupport functional testing efforts, contributing to quality assurance and delivery readinessParticipate in the design and optimisation of app-based trading/investing featuresSupport chatbot integration and related process enhancementsContribute to the continuous improvement of digital customer journeysProfile5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in a financial services or B2C settingProven experience with mobile apps, web front-end projects, and digital platformsSolid understanding of UX and customer journey designFunctional testing and QA support experience is a strong assetEnglish-speaking, with knowledge of French/DutchAdditional Details:SENIORITY: SeniorSTART DATE: ASAPDURATION: 12 months (extension possible)CONTRACT: FreelanceLOCATION: Brussels / HybridHOURS PER WEEK: 40LANGUAGES: English
