As Head of Compliance, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the compliance program, ensuring that operations adhere to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Direct reporting line to CRO
* Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance policies and procedures
* Monitor and assess the effectiveness of compliance controls and risk management processes
* Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance-related matters
* Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry best practices
* Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors as needed
* Investigate and resolve compliance issues and breaches
* Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and the board of directors
Your profile:
* Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in a compliance role within the insurance industry (certification is preferred)
* In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in a flat organizational structure
* Fluency in Dutch and French
