Solutions Driven are proud to partner with a global industrial manufacturing company looking for a Credit Manager based in Tongeren, Belgium.
The Credit Manager is responsible for overseeing customer credit risk across the EMENA region, ensuring sound financial practices and compliance. This includes evaluating the creditworthiness of customers, accountable in the management of customer credit limits and payment terms, and ensuring legal alignment with purchase orders and contracts. The Credit Manager also leads the collection of outstanding customer payments, working proactively to resolve issues and ensure timely cash flow. The Credit Manager supports strategic decision-making by providing risk assessments and collaborates closely with finance, sales, and legal teams to enable secure and compliant business transactions.
Review and approve customer purchase orders, terms & conditions, and contractual clauses.Collaborate with legal and sales teams to ensure contractual compliance and mitigate risks.Prepare credit reports and risk assessments for management and ELT review.Support internal audits and compliance reviews related to credit and contract management.
Minimum 5 years of experience in credit management, preferably in industrial or construction sectors.Strong understanding of credit insurance, international trade terms, and legal contract review.Languages: Fluent in English, additional assets are Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Danish, Spanish.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
