Cyber Security Capability Lead
Location: Brussels
Responsibilities:
* Define and own the Group Security vision and roadmap, aligned to cyber strategy, business priorities, and regulatory obligations (e.g. NIS2), and actively drive alignment across leadership and stakeholders.
* Deliver measurable outcomes and risk reduction, owning cyber risk, compliance readiness, operational resilience, and secure business enablement with clear success metrics.
* Lead and evolve high-performing capability teams, shaping squads, skills, sourcing, and culture with strong focus on ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Own end-to-end financial accountability, balancing cost, risk reduction, and long-term value across platforms, delivery, run, and external partners.
* Ensure coherent, enterprise-aligned security architecture, preventing fragmentation and vendor lock-in while aligning IAM, SOC, cloud, network, data, and SSDLC capabilities.
* Drive data-led decision making, using reliable metrics and feedback loops to steer prioritisation, delivery, and operational improvement.
Experience:
* Proven experience owning a product, platform or capability end-to-end in a complex organisation.
* Experience in several cybersecurity domains (e.g. IAM, SOC, Vulnerability Management, Network or Cloud Security).
* Exposure to large, federated or multi-entity environments.
* Experience balancing transformation, delivery and run responsibilities.
* Budget ownership and financial decision-making experience.
