Operational Excellence Leader We're the backbone of IKEA's supply chain, responsible for making products available to customers. Our diverse team uses supply process expertise to balance range and capacity with forecasting and ordering to provide high availability while minimizing costs. Your Key Responsibilities You'll be accountable for your assigned team's performance to ensure high-performing daily operations connected to service execution. This includes efficient staging, preparation for last-mile delivery, required handovers, inventory management, compliance with frameworks and guidelines. Key responsibilities also include: Taking direct lead in identifying, recruiting, retaining, and developing talents in the service execution team to secure a diverse, high-performing team that can execute its assigned responsibilities confidently and secure future succession. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment throughout the unit and ensuring service execution co-workers work in compliance with IKEA Code of Conduct, internal regulations, and local legislation related to health, safety, security, and the environment. Securing effective, qualitative, and efficient daily service execution within your assigned area of responsibility by contributing to goal achievement, people, shift, and equipment planning, creating quality awareness among co-workers to prevent and reduce damages, driving implementation of local business plans/projects, and analyzing existing workload to secure daily volume handling and meet seasonal needs. Supporting lean methodologies within the fulfillment unit and overseeing lean improvements and initiatives in your designated area of responsibility. To achieve this, you'll need to have excellent leadership skills, be able to work through others, set priorities, delegate responsibility, and give open and honest feedback. You should have a business-minded approach with a clear customer focus, ability to meet agreed budgets and goals, passion for logistics, and strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.
