About Our Client
This position supports the design‑in and specification of structural and mechanical support systems across building and infrastructure projects. The role involves working closely with surveyors, consultants, and site teams, delivering technical recommendations, and supporting business development activities through seminars and proactive outreach.
Job Description
Technical & Project Support
Work closely with surveyors, consultants, and project engineers to understand design requirements and propose practical solutions.
Prepare technical calculations, drawings, design reports, and product recommendations using internal design tools.
Support the Engineering Manager during site visits, technical walk‑downs, and client meetings.
Consultant Engagement & Market Development
Conduct proactive outreach (including cold‑calling) to consulting firms to introduce solutions and identify upcoming project opportunities.
Arrange and deliver technical seminars, CPD sessions, and specification briefings to promote product adoption in project designs.
Follow up with consultants to secure specification inclusion and maintain a healthy project pipeline.
Cross‑functional Collaboration
Work with Sales and Key Account teams to ensure smooth handover of design packages and support project conversion.
Provide technical support during site trials, mock‑ups, and installation queries.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate CRM records, project documentation, and seminar logs.
Provide regular reports on project progress, specification wins, and consultant engagement.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering (preferred).
Candidates from Product Design or Materials Engineering backgrounds will also be considered.
Fluent English required (written and spoken); Cantonese/Mandarin an advantage.
Experience in structural, mechanical, or construction engineering is preferred, but strong fresh graduates will also be considered.
