Overview
Context Join Degroof Petercam as a Financial Controller and bring laser sharp transparency to our IT spend. Embedded in the CIO Office (IT), you’ll work side by side with Finance and IT to track budgets, analyze variances, and turn data into decisions that shape our technology roadmap. From month end close and vendor reviews to cloud cost deep dives and KPI dashboards, you’ll get real responsibility and make a visible impact from day one. We’re looking for a curious, detail driven student with a knack for numbers, solid Excel/Power BI skills, and the confidence to speak up.
Your position
As a Financial Controller within the CIO Office, you will:
* Support the monitoring of IT budgets, including tracking actuals, forecasts, and variances.
* Contribute to the month end closing process, preparing clear and reliable cost reports.
* Analyze IT cost drivers (infrastructure, cloud, software, vendors) and propose relevant insights.
* Assist in building and maintaining dashboards and KPIs that support management decisions.
* Help structure and improve financial processes, documentation, and internal controls related to IT spending.
Your profile
* Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in Finance or Economics;
* Advanced knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint (PowerBI is a plus)
* IT domains knowledge is a plus
* Fluent in French and English (Dutch is a plus)
