The Electrical Project Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and managing the complete electrical and infrastructural setup of telecom shelters. This role ensures that all systems are integrated safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant regulations into a functional overall design. Key Responsibilities: Designing and sizing electrical installations for telecom shelters (including power supply, grounding, cabling, UPS systems, etc.) Preparing electrical diagrams and plans, including selecting appropriate components Developing rack layouts and power distribution for telecom equipment Integrating cooling and climate control systems, such as air conditioning, ventilation, and monitoring Developing lighting and security solutions in line with current standards (e.g., fire detection, access control) Providing technical coordination with other disciplines, including civil engineers and telecom systems integrators Managing projects from request to delivery: engineering, BOMs, execution dossiers, and on-site supervision Handling multiple projects simultaneously (typically 2 or 3 at a time), both standard and custom-made Overseeing the physical realization of projects at the production site Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electromechanics, electrical engineering, or a similar discipline A few years of experience with electrical installations, ideally in an industrial or telecom setting Solid understanding of electrical standards and regulations (AREI, NEN1010, etc.) Proficient in interpreting and creating technical drawings and schematics; experience with EPLAN or AutoCAD is advantageous Willingness to learn EPLAN if not already familiar Keen interest in emerging technologies with strong analytical abilities Accurate, self-reliant, hands-on, and capable of overseeing projects independently Knowledge of HVAC and access control systems is a bonus Possession of a category B driver’s license is mandatory Good command of English, with Dutch language skills considered a plus An exciting and diverse position within a rapidly expanding, technology-driven company Ample room for personal input, initiative, and career advancement The opportunity to make a real impact on strategic projects in the telecom industry Flexible working arrangements (though on-site presence is greatly appreciated) A competitive salary package with a company car and a range of benefits Meal vouchers, hospitalization and group insurance, eco vouchers, company phone, and laptop provided Flexible holiday planning in consultation with your team This organization is experiencing rapid growth due to its highly automated and scalable solutions, which have attracted global interest.
