About SwiftPharma

SwiftPharma is an innovative biotech company pioneering next-generation biologics through plant molecular farming. By using plants as bioreactors, we solutions for recombinant protein production.

In addition to our CDMO services, SwiftPharma is developing its own Research Use Only (RUO) and cosmetic-grade product portfolio.


About the role

To accelerate the commercial rollout of SwiftPharma’s plant-based technologies, we are appointing a Sales Lead.

This is a revenue-focused sales leadership role, responsible for driving and delivering sales across Europe and selected global markets.

The Sales Lead owns the commercial pipeline, sales targets, and customer portfolio, ensuring long-term revenue generation.


Key responsibilities

* Own and deliver annual and quarterly sales targets.
* Manage the B2B sales cycle, including lead generation, technical sales positioning, commercial proposals, negotiation, and contract closure.
* Develop strategic customer relationships with brands, manufacturers, and formulators.
* Develop and manage distributor relationships, including partner selection, performance management, and commercial support.
* Maintain the CRM pipeline and provide accurate forecasting and revenue reporting.
* Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and geographic expansion opportunities.
* Represent the company at industry events and trade fairs.
* Act as the primary commercial interface for customers and coordinate with internal teams (R&D, Operations) to ensure successful delivery.


Profile requirements

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences and/or Biotechnology.
* Minimum 5 years of proven experience in B2B sales of biotech products.
* Strong network within brands, ingredient buyers, formulators, and distributors.
* Experience managing full sales cycles and closing mid- to long-cycle deals.
* Entrepreneurial mindset suited to a scale-up environment.
* Fluent in English and Dutch (French is a big plus, additional European languages are a plus).
* Willingness to travel within Europe and internationally.
