Key Responsibilities:
Compliance & Regulatory Affairs:
* Monitor & ensure adherence to FSSAI, Legal Metrology, and other statutory regulations for domestic and import shipments.
* Apply for new licenses or modifications, maintain policy relationships with regulatory authorities.
* Interpret and implement notifications from FSSAI, Legal Metrology, and other regulatory bodies.
Quality & Food Safety:
* Drive HACCP systems across all distribution centers.
* Develop training manuals and conduct workshops to create a food safety culture for sourcing, supply chain, and 3PL vendors.
* Establish an efficient Food Safety Management System and ensure product quality compliance across the supply chain.
* Lead vendor audits and ensure risk management for all compliance activities.
* Implement ISO 22000:2018 standards across distribution centers.
* Train staff on health, hygiene, and safety across various verticals (Coffee, Customer Service, etc.).
Product Compliance:
* Review new and existing products to manage compliance with domestic and global regulations.
* Assist in developing SOPs & specifications for food categories in coordination with suppliers.
Desired Candidate Profile:
* Food Technologist with knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSAI, Legal Metrology
* 5+ years in processed foods (Meats, Seafood, Dairy, Breads, etc.)
* Excellent communication skills, team coordination, and MS Office proficiency
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
