Business Analyst Data & Automation - English required - ALTEN Belgium
The Position
As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Business Analyst Data & Automation to join our teams and work on client projects located in Belgium.
As a Business Analyst Data & Automation, your main responsibilities will include:
* Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
* Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, Power Apps, and Power Automate solutions to support business operations.
* Work with SAP ECC data and data lake structures to ensure data quality, consistency, and efficient reporting.
* Optimize existing tools (Excel/VBA) and drive the transition towards automated and scalable solutions.
* Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying automation opportunities and accelerating delivery using Agile methodologies and modern tools.
Your Profile
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or equivalent.
* Proven experience in business analysis and stakeholder management in a data-driven environment.
* Hands-on expertise with Power BI (DAX, data modeling), Power Apps, and Power Automate.
* Strong knowledge of SAP ECC data and reporting logic.
* Proficiency in SQL and data transformation concepts; experience with data lake environments is a plus.
* Advanced Excel and VBA skills.
* Agile mindset with experience in backlog management and iterative delivery.
* Strong communication skills and ability to bridge business and technical teams.
* Fluency in English is required
