About your role
As our Business Partner you will deliver efficient, consistent and high‑quality on‑site People & Culture (P&C) services for our business in Belgium, ensuring an excellent employee experience. The Business Partner is a customer‑facing role responsible for providing partnering and support across the P&C function. A key focus of this role is to ensure legal compliance with Belgian labour laws and collective labour agreements, and to build capability and accountability within the business.
What You’ll Do
Business Partnering & Capability Building
* Act as a point of contact and provide guidance and coaching to managers.
* Build capability and accountability among people managers to handle People & Culture matters independently.
* Lead local training courses on People & Culture processes and tools.
* Provide career guidance and coaching to managers where appropriate.
* Assist with planning and roll‑out of People & Culture programs and initiatives, including Talent Management, Performance and Employee Engagement.
Compliance & Employee Relations
* Monitor, review and update local policies and practices in accordance with the law, the industry environment and the local leadership strategy (e.g., CLAs, mobility plan, training reporting).
* Lead standard employee relations (ER) and industrial relations (IR) cases and support the GM/CLT in managing the works council and unions.
* Advise on performance management issues and lead investigations.
* Coordinate with Procurement team on vendor reviews and tenders’ management to optimise service level and cost for P&C services.
* Administer and manage relationships with P&C vendors (e.g., Securex, insurance providers, training partners).
* Ensure car & mobility policy framework, with execution of the policy by the Market Assistant.

What You need to be successful
* Experience in partnering with senior leadership and managing complex HR cases.
* Solid understanding and working knowledge of broad HR functional areas, compliance regulations, and business processes in Belgium.
* Strong expertise in ER/IR and local labour laws.
* Educational background in HR, Law, or related.
* Take initiative; work autonomously.
* Influence and build capability in others.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Excellent written and spoken language skills in Dutch, French, and English.
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
