Mission
* Knowledge about solid, liquid and gaseous radioactive waste types and treatment.
* Knowledge about treatment and conditioning of solid radioactive waste.
* Co-development (with senior experts) of waste management strategies.
* Writing technical specifications, technical follow‑up of contracts and commissioning of installations for the treatment and/or conditioning of radioactive waste.
* Verify the technical work performed by your peers.
* Provide regular feedback about ongoing activities.
* Actively engage in knowledge sharing with others.
* Work in close relationship with the final client and interact with Safety Authorities and Radioactive Waste Management Agencies.
Profile
* You have a master’s degree in engineering / sciences / physics / chemistry.
* You know French or Dutch and English.
* You have knowledge on the working principles of a Nuclear Power Plant (type Pressurized Water Reactor).
* You have knowledge about waste management systems of the Belgian NPPs (an asset).
* You have working experience in the nuclear sector.
