About the role:
As Head of Facilities at SD Worx, you are responsible for strategically managing our diverse European office network, ensuring operational excellence, cost control, and a workplace environment that empowers our teams to thrive. You’ll lead standardization initiatives, facilitate data-driven decision-making, and serve as a trusted business partner for our local leadership teams, guiding investment decisions regarding office openings, relocations, and closures.

Which tasks can you expect?
Facilities Strategy & Standardization
-Define and implement a clear Facilities strategy across 100+ SD Worx offices, mostly based in Europe, aligning closely with the business objectives.
-Drive standardization of Facilities processes, services, and workplace experiences, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency across all locations.
-Investment Decisions & Portfolio Management Lead data-driven decisions around office openings, relocations, upgrades, and closures, based on comprehensive financial analysis, occupancy data, business requirements, and market insights.
-Own and govern the long-term office portfolio strategy, ensuring the network is correctly sized, cost-efficient, and flexible enough to accommodate future growth.
Business Partnership & Stakeholder Management
-Act as a strategic business partner and advisor to local management teams, proactively identifying and addressing office and workplace-related needs.
-Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across various regions, ensuring transparent and effective communication regarding Facilities-related initiatives.
Cost Control & Efficiency
-Implement and maintain rigorous cost control and governance processes, ensuring Facilities budgets and spend are effectively managed, monitored, and optimized.
-Identify and execute opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and operational efficiencies.
-Data-Driven Decision Making Improve the maturity of our data-driven decision-making approach by collecting, managing, and analyzing office-related data (occupancy rates, lease details, ESG & H&S metrics, costs).
-Regularly produce actionable insights and management reports to guide strategic and tactical decisions.
Team Leadership
-Lead and develop a geographically dispersed Facilities team, ensuring clear direction, alignment, and professional growth opportunities.
-Foster a collaborative team culture, focusing on continuous improvement, accountability, and performance.
Compliance & Risk Management
-Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations, ESG standards, and other relevant local and international compliance frameworks.
-Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate Facilities-related risks across the office portfolio.
What do you have to offer?
-Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Real Estate, Engineering, or related fields.
-7+ years of senior-level Facilities management or corporate real estate experience, ideally within an international or multi-site corporate environment.
-Demonstrated success in leading Facilities standardization and cost optimization projects.
-Proven expertise in financial analysis and data-driven decision-making. Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with experience in managing dispersed teams.
-Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
-Fluent in English and Dutch; additional European languages considered an advantage.
