Avanade is looking for Business Development Managers who are deal hunters, deal makers, originators and self-starters who can develop and win new business in a complex consulting environment with sophisticated technology solutions. For this role, we are looking for people with experience in net new sales where you are selling digital transformation and consulting services (e.g. cloud implementation, business applications integration, etc.) to enterprise clients across different industries.

Key responsibilities:
1. Lead industry‑specific C‑suite conversations across Avanade’s core markets (Chemicals, Industrial, Telco, Finance), positioning value‑based transformation deals tied to measurable business outcomes.
2. Proactively identify and shape high‑value transformation opportunities, owning and driving the full sales cycle from first conversation to signed contract.
3. Accelerate revenue growth by consistently prospecting, winning, and expanding business with direct clients in your industry focus area.
4. Partner closely with the Microsoft and Accenture ecosystem to unlock new opportunities and broaden market reach.
5. Build and manage a high‑quality pipeline, crafting compelling statements of work and closing deals that drive tangible client impact.
6. Develop deep, trust‑based relationships with new and existing clients, leveraging referrals and executive networks to open doors and shorten deal cycles.
7. Stay ahead of market trends and competitor movements to position Avanade’s capabilities as the clear choice for digital and industry transformation.
