Notary David Indekeu – Senior Legal Counsel Corporate Law

Our client is a well-established notary office located in the heart of Brussels, easily accessible by public transport.
The office consists of a team of around twenty staff members, led by a dynamic notary.
The clientele is diverse (small and large (listed) companies, officials of the European institutions), and the cases are varied, with the main objective of providing high-quality legal assistance.
The notary is currently looking for a notarial legal counsel or trainee notary to strengthen the team.
You are the flagship representative of the notary office for all corporate law matters and will lead this area of practice.
You will be responsible for the complete handling of various corporate files: incorporations, all types of capital increases and reductions, amendments to articles of association, corporate restructurings (mergers, (partial) demergers, contributions of business branches, …), shareholders’ agreements, (international) non-profit associations, foundations, partnerships, etc. Additional basic knowledge of real estate law is certainly a plus.
You will be in direct contact with various key clients, whom you will advise and assist in order to independently manage cases professionally from A to Z.
Profiel
Do you hold a Master of Laws and/or a Master in Notary Law and/or a Master in Corporate Law? Or are you an ambitious Notary candidate ?
Other requirements:
* You have preferably at least 8 years of experience as a lawyer, notarial legal counsel, or in-house counsel, and have built solid experience in drafting the aforementioned contracts and deeds, providing legal advice, and properly following up corporate files.
* You are open, social, and enjoy interacting with clients and colleagues.
* You can work independently, are meticulous and result-oriented, and strive for high client satisfaction.
* You have an excellent command of Dutch, French and English.
