This role focuses on the operation, security, and evolution of a complex datacenter network environment supporting business-critical services. It combines hands-on operational responsibility with the design and implementation of major infrastructure changes, including security hardening, datacenter migrations, and disaster recovery scenarios. The position requires deep expertise in application-centric networking and high-availability platforms.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and maintain datacenter network systems, including monitoring, backups, and incident resolution
* Design, implement, and validate major network changes, new systems, and system decommissioning
* Plan and execute network migrations, including datacenter relocations and disaster recovery testing
* Implement and continuously improve application-centric security models
* Manage logging, vendor coordination, and escalation of support cases with suppliers
* Ensure network stability, performance, and security across all managed environments
What are we looking for?
* You have 5+ years of experience working as a Network Specialist in complex infrastructure environments
* You bring 3+ years of hands-on experience with
Cisco ACI
datacenter technology, including configuration and application policies
* You have 3+ years of practical experience with
Palo Alto
next-generation firewalls
* You possess 5+ years of experience with
Cisco Catalyst (IOS)
and
Cisco Nexus (NX-OS)
, covering routing, switching, and security
* You have proven experience with logging, monitoring, and handling vendor support cases
* You have hands-on experience with network infrastructure and system-level configuration related to networking technologies
* You are native Dutch at CEFR level C2
