Team/division description
Chassis Engineering Division’s responsibility is :
1) Development of Chassis parts (Brake, Steering, Suspension, Tyre, Shift, Pedals, …) to achieve the highest driving performance and quality at the competitive price.
2) Local development of Chassis parts for vehicles built in Toyota’s European assembly plants.
This activity is done in close cooperation with local suppliers and Toyota Motor Corporation in Japan.
3) Investigation of new European technologies

Your responsibilities
Your responsibilities
The main expectation from a candidate in this area is to successfully complete Brake system and parts development. Below are examples of typical responsibilities:
1. Brake system and parts design to achieve target performance
2. Develop brake components to secure project milestones
3. Reflect brake evaluation result into brake system design
4. Coordinate development activities with brake evaluation team
5. Lead development with related divisions in Toyota(. R&D, quality, plant, purchasing)
6. Cooperate with suppliers to complete development tasks
7. Pursue cost reduction activities with suppliers and purchasing support
8. Scout, evaluate and propose new technologies of brake system and parts
9. Proactive benchmarking activities for brake system performance
10. Review brake performance seeking further improvement for end customer
Your Profile
1. Education Level:
Master in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering
2. Experience:
11. Minimum 3 years of experience in design & development of complex mechanical parts is required.
12. Brake component knowledge is an asset
3. Technical Skills/Expertise/Knowledge:
13. Project management
14. Analytical approach and Problem-solving
15. Knowledge of the general vehicle design
16. Knowledge and experience with FMEA is an asset
17. Cost and quality conscious mind
18. Good knowledge of office IT tools

28. Experience with CATIA v5 and FEM analysis are an asset
29. Experience with Matlab is an asset
