Our Commercial & Legal Excellence team at Loyens & Loeff plays a pivotal role in shaping our business development strategy. As a leading legal and tax partner, we offer a dynamic and challenging environment where your contributions will make a real impact.
Your responsibilities:
1. Drive Business Development: Lead initiatives across various expertise groups, strategically advising lawyers and executing go-to-market strategies to identify new opportunities for business growth and brand building.
2. Develop & Implement Business Plans: Create robust business plans for each expertise group, focusing on client/target development,, and cross-selling initiatives.
3. Collaborate & Innovate: Identify cross-selling opportunities between expertise groups and offices, and work closely with firmwide colleagues to share and leverage best practices.
4. Stay Ahead of Trends: Monitor trends in the Belgian legal and tax landscape, and seize PR and media opportunities to enhance our firm's image.
5. Organise Impactful Events: Develop and coordinate client, PR, and social events, defining target groups and creating programs that strengthen and promote our firm's reputation.
6. Track & Report: Work closely with our Partners and Group Coordinators to track activities and results, ensuring continuous improvement and success.
Your profile:
7. Educational Background: At least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Development or related fields. A Master's degree is preferred.
8. Professional Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Business Development, ideally in a law firm.
9. Language Skills: Excellent English level, a good command of Dutch is a plus, and at least a good passive knowledge of French.
10. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). A previous experience with one or several CRM systems is a plus.
11. Personal Attributes: Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude are essential. Entrepreneurial mindset, result-driven, structured, organised and proactive, autonomous.
12. Project Management: Advanced project management skills and a self-starting ability to get things done.
