PSA BDP serves over 5,000 customers, including some of the world's leading multinational companies within the chemical, retail & consumer, life sciences & pharmaceuticals, and electric vehicle & industrial verticals.

Purpose of Position
The position is established as a Sales Director within the Consumer Retail & Fashion Industry, focusing as an individual contributor in the key Geography as defined by the Global Head of Consumer Retail & Fashion, within the European Markets.

Key Deliverables

New Business Development – 80% focus

* Identify, strategically position PSA BDP's core focus products, map out opportunities and win new business aligned to the vertical strategy.
* Review, maintain, and adjust the pipeline list annually to ensure focused energies.
* Establish a targeted list of pipeline accounts globally aligned to the vertical, including vertical target accounts, regionally strategic accounts, and country‐specific accounts.

Existing Book of Business – 20% focus

* Build and develop relationships with senior management of the existing book of business.
* Maintain close working relationships with corporate operational leadership and monitor account performance.
* Proactively engage, develop, and deploy new business sales opportunities to grow the book of business.
* Strategically align with global leadership to champion accounts and support customer satisfaction.

Lead System Demonstrator
• Present and hold deep‐dive discussions into PSA BDP's IT suite of tools, becoming fluent in the solution.

OPEX Business Implementation Support

* Engage product experts to leverage opportunities towards customers in face‐to‐face meetings.
* Liaise with regional and country management to communicate opportunities and secure buy‐in.
* Work with the OPEX implementation team to ensure smooth handover and deployment of new business wins.

Vertical Strategy
• Develop a region‐specific pipeline targeting rapid growth and developing the vertical, focusing on global head offices in different regions.

Key Tasks

Establish and maintain new business development delivery strategy.

Deploy the verticals strategy to existing and new customer base.

Own internal and external KPIs, recommend process improvements, adopt lean logistics practices, and ensure KPIs are produced on time.

Meet with customers to drive relationship development, identify new business markets, and deploy focused development approach.

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, conferences, and seminars.

Identify potential gaps in existing procedures, systems, and tools.

Possess solid knowledge of ocean freight and CFS warehouse operations.

Have experience in freight services and global customer service in the retail sector.

Develop strong relationships within the customer network and possess subject‐matter expertise in the consumer retail fashion space.

Experience in ocean freight and consolidation services.

Communicate cross‐functionally within a matrix organization and understand CFS warehouse.

Demonstrate discipline, maturity, customer orientation, teamwork, self‐motivation, flexibility, resilience, and a high result orientation.

Show analytical and problem‐solving skills, networking, relationship building, and informed judgment for timely solutions.

Available for global travel, with expected travel up to 40%.

Qualifications

Degree holder with at least 5 years of operational experience in a global forwarding or logistics company.

Minimum 2 years of experience in CFS warehousing operation, contract logistics, and related areas.

Exposure and knowledge of 3PL and order/freight management operations.

Excellent command of English and local language.
