Software Test Engineer

Mission
Within the Clinical R&D Department, you’ll write and execute tests to verify and validate the robustness of the patient’s proton therapy treatment system.
You’ll be part of a multi-disciplinary team (software developer, software architect, requirements engineer, etc).

Challenges we trust you with
* You participate to the global quality improvement of the product by defining and putting in place test strategies in collaboration with other teams.
* You verify and validate the treatment management solution.
* You challenge solutions with business analysts and other technical experts.
* You troubleshoot the system and streamline the test procedures
* You take part in the improvement of the current product test strategy, focusing on ease of use, objectivity and test coverage (e.g. by employing automation tools)
* You lead the improvements of system engineering methods and tools by collecting, suggesting and implementing changes in agreement with the experts
What we value
* You have a Bachelor degree in software engineering or equivalent with at least 3 years of practical experience in a constraining environment
* You have a strong expertise in test strategies
* Expertise in Python is mandatory
* You have strong analysis skills and love learning new technologies
* You are solution-oriented and show initiatives
* Given the international environment, you have excellent communication skills in English and preferably also in French
* You are willing to travel occasionally
