Job Description
As a Policy Officer your responsibilities are:
* Analyze and assess consumer policies with a focus on economic perspectives.
* Develop and implement strategies for effective advocacy at the European and international levels.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to advance consumer interests.
* Monitor policy developments and identify opportunities to influence decision‑making processes.
* Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations to support policy positions.
* Represent the organization in meetings, events, and consultations with policymakers and other stakeholders.
* Provide expertise on economic aspects of consumer protection and market practices.
* Contribute to the overall objectives of the Marketing & Agency department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Policy Officer should have:
* A Master’s degree in Economics or Business Studies.
* Strong experience in European or international policy and advocacy.
* Proficiency in assessing consumer policy areas, particularly from an economic perspective.
* Excellent communication and analytical skills.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* A proactive and results‑oriented approach to work.
* Excellent level of English both written and verbal, French and Dutch is a plus.
