GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Zurich Santander will hire a Regional Head of Talent Management and Development, to join our regional team, reporting directly to our Chief People Officer, who is member of the executive committee of the company and based in Madrid.
This position will be based in Madrid, with a hybrid working scheme.

Purpose:
Creates and defines a broad organizational vision, strategy and governance on talent to enable the overall HR and business strategy
Acts as a trusted advisor to HR Business Partners and Managers in addressing talent acquisition strategies and challenges. Serves as a subject matter expert with regards to talent attraction, sourcing and engagement strategies and leads initiatives aligned to connecting talents to open positions.
Manages and(or) implements regional or local learning solutions for technical, leadership, management or professional development, to enable the overall HR and business strategy. Continuously innovates to meet the business needs around upskilling and reskilling of the respective employee group.
Delivers and shapes Talent Management activities and outcomes to ensure implementation and application of the talent management framework and practices to enable the overall talent and business strategy.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our Regional Head of Talent Management and Development will be responsible within our whole business (Spain, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Argentina and Uruguay)
Responsible for leading the Regional Talent strategy and implementation, initiates and executes strategic programs to meet the needs of our people, business partners and customers. Ensures appropriate governance and controls are in operation on global processes. Provides consultative services to identify, design and develop targeted solutions and initiatives to meet business goals and objectives. Establishes regional or country talent learning agenda so that there is appropriate balance and complementarity between central and regional/local initiatives. Manages budget ensuring that resources are allocated and spent efficiently to meet objectives of the function. Ensures stakeholder management and internal communication with the key functions and ensures interaction and alignment with the Group's leadership.
Leads processes and has strategic oversight for team of recruiters and achievement of both service levels and performance levels across all aspects of talent acquisition delivery. Partners with HR Business Partners and their leadership to review their staffing plans and forecast future hiring needs, aligning hiring strategy to talent sourcing and pipeline planning as well as ensuring appropriate talent acquisition resourcing and job marketing levers to meet these needs. Monitors and analyses of market trends and data that impact labor supply and demand and advise HR Business Partners and managers of opportunities to shift sourcing strategies to optimize talent acquisition outcomes.
Ensures best in class learning programs and initiatives offered to our employees in close collaboration with the business, regions, countries and external learning partners. Leads self and may lead a team to deliver outstanding learning solutions. Selection and appointment of best in class global, regional or local external learning partners to add external best practices to the internal ones. Creates and manages the evaluation approach to measure and improve the effectiveness and business impact of the offered learning solutions
Ensures talent management activities (assessment, coaching, feedback, succession planning, talent reviews, etc..) are planned and completed in close collaboration with the business, regions and countries. Partners with HR Business Partners in the identification and tracking of acceleration talent, as well as talent pools in our core capability areas. Collaborates with Talent Management Community of Practice, functional or business and talent management teams as well as external partners to combine internal with external best practices. Leverages assessment certification and experience to deliver feedback results to senior executives and Acceleration talent. Participates in global talent management systems implementation or change activities and initiatives. Leads design and development of regional or local initiatives. Uses data insights to inform evolution of talent strategy and influencing business change

Requirements
Degree on Business Management, Human Resources, etc
Desirable certifications on coaching, leadership, etc
Experience: minimun of 10 years in HR, with experience in talent acquisition and talent management
Experience in Insurance sector will be a diferential
Languages: fluency in Spanish and english with intermediate Portuguese (desirable)
