Job Summary

As a Senior Process Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality, innovative, and sustainable solutions for our customers. You’ll be responsible for the technical study and execution of projects, ensuring they meet both economic and technical performance standards. Working closely with Project Managers, Sales Engineers, and Automation Project Managers, you’ll be the trusted expert for technical solutions and process design. Your work will directly contribute to the continuous improvement and standardization of our engineering methods. Location: GrootBijgaarden, Belgium
Position Type: Full‑time, hybrid (up to 50% remote)
Travel: Approx. 30% to customer sites (mainly within Benelux, sometimes in other European countries)
What You Will Do
* Deliver expert process engineering and technical support throughout the sales, design, installation, and commissioning phases.
* Design and develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and layout plans tailored to customer needs.
* Perform calculations for piping, pumps, and valves used in food processing, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
* Create clear and comprehensive technical descriptions and functional process specifications.
* Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including test specifications.
* Lead the CE marking process to ensure regulatory compliance.
* Collaborate with project teams and customers to plan engineering and commissioning activities effectively.
* Conduct on‑site inspections, commissioning, and hygiene audits to uphold the highest quality standards.
* Update process documentation to reflect changes made during commissioning.
* Contribute to commercial tenders and process design initiatives as needed.
We Believe You Have
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Food & Beverage industry, ideally with a focus on liquid processes.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and cultures.
* Proficiency in standard office tools (e.g., Word, Excel), with a proactive approach to learning new systems.
* Familiarity with AutoCAD and SAP is a plus.
* A strong drive to understand and apply technical and quality concepts related to Tetra Pak processing activities.
Languages
* Fluency in English (minimum C1 level) is required.
* Knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a valuable asset.
