We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Finance Manager to lead SAP-enabled finance transformation projects. You will help clients optimise financial processes, implement SAP S/4HANA finance modules, and drive improvements in cash & liquidity management, credit risk, and the broader financial supply chain. You’ll play a central role in forecasting, designing, delivering, and enhancing finance systems, while collaborating with stakeholders and mentoring junior consultants.
* Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimisation of SAP Finance modules (e.g. Cash Management, Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM), Controlling, Management Accounting, Profitability, etc.).
* Analyse current-state financial processes of clients, identify gaps and inefficiencies, propose best practices aligned with SAP standard capabilities.
* Design future-state finance processes, integrating with other SAP or external modules (e.g. Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, General Ledger).
* Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to capture requirements, map processes, and translate into functional specifications.
* Oversee testing, troubleshooting, integration, and post-go-live support.
* Ensure strong governance throughout projects: manage risks, issues, change requests, and quality of deliverables.
* Lead and mentor a team of functional consultants; facilitate knowledge sharing and professional development.
* Support business development efforts: contribute to proposals, client pitches, and shaping go-to-market offerings in SAP Finance.
* Stay up to date with SAP innovations (especially around S/4HANA, automation, AI) and bring those insights into client solution design.
Requirements
* Minimum 6-10 years of relevant experience in SAP Finance roles, including hands-on implementation/configuration of SAP Finance / FSCM / CO / Management Accounting.
* Proven track record with SAP S/4HANA financial modules (Cash Management, Credit / Collections, Controlling, Profitability etc.).
* Strong understanding of financial processes: liquidity & cash flows, credit risk, financial supply chain, cost controlling, profitability margin analysis.
* Experience in mapping business requirements into functional SAP designs; strong skills in workshops and functional specification.
* Excellent stakeholder management: able to communicate complex ideas clearly to finance leaders, CFOs, and business stakeholders.
* Experience supervising/mentoring teams.
* Comfortable working in consulting engagements and delivering high impact, often under tight timelines.
* Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a strong plus given the bilingual nature of Belgium.
