In this role, you’ll lead client portfolios of varying sizes and industries, supporting them in optimizing their business travel and technology solutions.
What You'll Do:
1. Regular Cross functional collaboration with other Amex GBT departments such as Traveler Care, Finance, Technology etc
2. Prepare and presents client Quarterly Planning Session (QPSs)
3. Proactively recognize risks to the portfolio, identify an action plan and coordinate mitigating actions with TravCare Leaders.
4. Maintain and share industry knowledge with client, especially key themes such as sustainable travel, mobile/digital tech and NDC.
5. Identify and present Continuous Improvement & saving opportunities
6. Identify any possible issue / service disruption and pro-actively work on a resolution plan
7. Maintain and increase client web of influence
8. Manage relationship with all client contacts involved in the travel and wider program.
9. Ensure service delivery is as per contract, through KPI and SLA measurement
10. Work with GBT’s partner country network to ensure contractual obligations being met.
11. Lead and/or participate in client RFPs, RFI’s and bid averts
12. Manage internal and external communications with regards Amex GBT specific projects such as changes to client facing or back office IT system changes
13. React to changing client needs and be prepared to flex to new projects
14. Design and lead client retention and revenue growth plans, which includes up-selling of Amex GBT products & optimisation of supplier revenue.
15. As part of the revenue strategy produce a Revenue & Cost Saving Initiative Plan that captures opportunity over and above AOP
16. Maximizing transaction revenue through volume and fee growth
17. Generate Premium Revenue through other non-transactional products & services
18. Participate in product training and maintain knowledge
19. Ensure partnership with Amex GBT preferred suppliers, driving adoption wherever appropriate
20. P&L Management
21. Approves content of the monthly and quarterly settlements prior to client submission
What We're Looking For:
22. Previous experience of client management and/or proven people leadership
23. Strong communication skills
24. Native German and fluent verbal and written business English is required. A third language will be an advantage.
25. Strong business and financial acumen & proven ability to drive results and achieve targets is required
26. Strong influencing skills and change management ability
27. Strategic account planning experience
28. Ability to identify new business opportunities
29. Strong negotiation skills required, including the ability to handle objections and achieve mutually beneficial solutions.
30. Proficient in MS Office & PowerPoint.
31. Experience of Salesforce desirable
32. Leadership experience is beneficial, but not mandatory
33. Proven Executive level presentation skills
34. Flexibility on working hours
35. Solid Amex GBT network is advantageous
