As part of a team responsible for core IT operations, the role focuses on the day-to-day running of critical application systems. The position ensures service continuity, operational reliability, and the proper functioning of technical flows between applications and databases.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the smooth execution of daily and periodic IT processing activities
Monitor, start, stop, and control batch jobs, processes, and queues
Participate in operational end-of-day / end-of-cycle activities
Maintain production and testing environments
Perform application deployments and production releases
Monitor scheduled jobs and investigate technical incidents
Implement automation solutions to improve recurring operational tasks
Handle incidents and service requests coming from IT support teams
Perform first-level technical analysis and escalate when required
Document incidents, interventions, and operational procedures
Produce operational KPIs and reports for IT management
Apply operational procedures and meet defined resolution timelines
Technical Environment & Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Linux / Unix environments
Proficiency in shell scripting
Experience with transactional banking systems (core banking-type platforms)
Knowledge of industrial scheduling / workload automation tools
Familiarity with application middleware and relational databases
Strong troubleshooting and incident resolution skills
Ability to write clear technical and operational documentation
