🧠What you'll do
As a Data Analyst at TMS, you will help our clients make informed decisions through robust analysis, clean data, and clear reporting. Your responsibilities will include:
* Gathering, cleaning, transforming, and validating data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, ERP/CRM systems) to ensure accuracy and reliability.
* Exploring data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies; supporting business units by answering ad-hoc analytical questions.
* Building dashboards, reports, visualizations (e.g. in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools) to communicate insights to stakeholders.
* Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their needs & translate them into data models, metrics, KPIs.
* Maintaining and improving existing reports / dashboards; optimizing performance of data models.
* Supporting data quality efforts: defining checks, monitoring, fixing issues, ensuring data integrity.
* Documenting data flows, business logic, assumptions, and maintaining documentation so others can follow your work.
* Participating in testing phases (e.g. validate outputs), ensuring that what is delivered matches the requirements.
🎯 What we're looking for
We're searching for someone who checks most of these boxes 👇
Technical skills:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience (2-5+ years) in a Data Analyst role or similar analytical/BI role.
* Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data.
* Experience with BI / visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Looker) to build dashboards & reports.
* Good understanding of data modelling, metrics/KPIs, and ideally experience with data warehouses or data marts.
* Ability to work with tools / languages like Python or R is a plus.
* Comfortable working in environments with multiple data sources and systems.
Soft skills:
* Excellent analytical thinking & attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills — able to explain data findings simply and clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
* Problem solver, curious, proactive: you don't wait for questions, you suggest what could be done.
* Good organizational skills; able to manage priorities, deliver on deadlines.
* A team player who works well with business, operations, technical teams.
Languages:
* French: fluent or native (spoken & written)
* Dutch: fluent (spoken & written)
* English: fluent (spoken & written)
