The RoleOur client is looking for a Quality & Information Security Specialist to strengthen their quality processes, data integrity, and information security landscape.In this role, you will support and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and contribute to building a robust Information Security Management System (ISMS). You will work cross-functionally to ensure compliance while driving continuous improvement through digitalization and automation.
Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS)Promote quality and information security awareness across the organizationSupport the development and maintenance of the ISMS (e.g., asset & vulnerability management, monitoring)Review and maintain technical and regulatory documentationMonitor KPIs, risks, and customer feedback related to quality and securityInvestigate and resolve data quality issues and non-conformitiesConduct internal audits and support external auditsPerform security reviews and report on ISMS performance and incidentsCollaborate with external IT partners and stakeholdersStay up to date with regulatory, cybersecurity, and digital trends (including AI)Deliver internal training sessions on quality and security topicsRepresent the organization at relevant industry events and networks
Your ProfileMaster's degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Bioinformatics, or similarMinimum 3 years of experience in IT, software, cybersecurity, or related fieldsExperience with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIS2, or similarStrong understanding of IT systems, cybersecurity, and risk managementKnowledge of GDPR principlesExperience with technical and regulatory documentationFamiliarity with Agile environmentsFluent in Dutch and EnglishBased in Belgium
